Binghamton Pinball League – What You Need To Know.
Here are a few answers to frequently asked questions about the Binghamton Pinball League
- Do I have to be good at pinball to participate?
Absolutely not! The purpose of the league is to provide a regular time for people who like to play pinball to get together and enjoy the hobby. The primary goal is FUN. Many of the more experienced members are willing to help the newer players learn to play the games. The league will be competitive for all skill levels and fun for all.
- What are the dates for league?
The dates are February 9th and 23rd, March 8th and 22nd, April 5th, and 19th, and May 3rd.
- Do I have to attend every league night?
Members are encouraged to attend every league night. The scoring for the league is designed to reward perfect attendance, but occasional absences are understandable. Therefore a members lowest two league night scores are dropped from the final standings.
- What if I like pinball, but I am unsure if I want to commit to a league?
The league offers a nightly option that allows individuals to pay $5 and participate in that night of league. League members are encouraged to bring guests to league nights. Individuals who use this option will be included the leagues final standings.
- Is the league sanctioned by IFPA?
Yes, the leagues is sanctioned by the International Flipper Pinball Association. Anyone who participates in one night of league will automatically become an internationally ranked pinball player. See IFPA.com for more details.
- Are the games free with my league dues?
No, the games will be on coin-drop and you need to purchase tokens from Moonwalker Arcade. The games are priced from $0.50 to $1.00 per game, so it is still a cheap night out.
- How do I register?
